Polkerris, Cornwall : One woman and her dog

 Another day found me on Polkerris beach; this is my favourite place in the world.

The lapping or crashing waves. The soft golden sand. There really is nowhere else i would rather be.

The Rashleigh in Polkerris is an amazing location of a quick drink or meal. The setting, views and general pub ambience, make it my favourite place to visit.

Perhaps it is my love for Polkerris that compels me to return;
urging and encouraging me to do 'my bit' to keep it clean.

It truly is a slice of heaven on earth.

Sadly, the beach gets impacted with plastic pollution brutally. This is specifically post-storm. The crashing waves swirling and stirring the sea bed and unleashing the plastics from their watery grave.

The photo below shows about half of what i collected today.

The array of products and brands is staggering.

I am often asked why i bother when there is so much plastic, and the problem is far greater than i am capable of removing! But the fresh air and peacefulness impact my life in a positive way, i guess this is my way of thanking the sea and beaches for giving me so much and asking for nothing in return.
