Par, Cornwall

10th January found us on Par beach again; the beach is ideal for walking a new puppy due to long, sweeping beach.

The early morning sunrise was beautiful..... luckily Woody had his coat on to keep him cosy whilst he explored the beach and looked for plastic.

We found a few drinks cans, not plastic, but a pollutant nonetheless. The images show how they have broken down; the impact on wildlife and doggy visitors to the beach is unimaginable.

We kept to the left of the beach for todays adventure, following the river that runs into the sea. Mixed in with the seaweed was an array of plastics......

Bottle tops were plentiful, along with the broken down bottles...

The beach cleaning angels rewarded our hard work with a lego daisy, smarties lids and selection of beautiful pottery and sea glass.
