I recently found a vintage washing up liquid bottle when beach cleaning, i believe it is circa 1960's. Amazing, scary and fascinating how long plastic is in the marine environment, especially when i see the amazing condition of the bottle!
Made from polyethylene, this bottle has a simple printed design on both sides and a screw top which must be pierced in the centre to allow the contents to be squeezed out. The bottle is thought to have been made in the mid 1950s for Thawpit, the manufacturers of the contents.
