Mothers Day 14th March 2021

For mothers day this year, i said i really wanted to go beach cleaning! We headed to our local beach; with a New Moon the tide was very low, so we could get along the river which is tidal, and pick up more than we are normally able to.

There was an amazing array of pottery; i love the roses which i think must have been a plate.

It was like going to back to the 1970's with the little toys, comb fragment, bottle lid and eye shadow case. I think the fish is from the fishing game, where you have to 'catch' the fish using little rods with magnets

Not sure who the little green plastic figure is; it reminds me of Robin Hood! And this Ever Ready battery really takes me back!

Although in very bad condition and covered in lots of crud when i found it, i was convinced the shape of the 'lump' looked like a vehicle. After knocking the crud off, and gently scrubbing with a soft bottle brush, this tank emerged! 

 It really is amazing what you can find when you beach clean.
