Polkerris; Sunrise and Peacefulness

We headed to Polkerris for our adventure today. This was our first visit to Polkerris following the stormy weather last week. We arrived to see the moon casting its light on the sea and St Austell in the background.

On the whole, the beach didn't look too bad; however, you do have to dig around a bit and then the true extent of plastic becomes apparent. Tides, weather and moon cycle all impact a beach, sometimes litter is strewn around i plain sight, and yet another day the wind may have blown the sand and all the litter is buried. It's not long until you find it though.

We can all make a difference; even though picking up one item doesn't sound like much, think how many this would be if everyone did it? And who knows what impact that one piece of pollution could have in the marine environment..... that one piece picked up really could make a difference

Stay safe x
