Sunrise at Polridmouth Cove, Cornwall

Todays beach cleaning adventure took us to Polridmouth Cove; the good thing about getting there super early is the peace and tranquillity. We walked down to the cove as the sun was rising, it was pure bliss.

Gribben  Head and the Daymark Tower looked stunning; especially as the tide was on it's way out, and with the full moon, it was going to be a really low tide and enable us to have a really good beach clean

Polridmouth cove was as stunning as always; ducks, swans and a heron were minding their own business on the lake

There was the usual assortment of plastic; including this toothbrush and unused coffee pod

The silver/grey balloon was almost invisible against the rocks. And i have to wonder why lots of seaweed always means a drinks can can be found!

The finds today included Lego flower stems (with one stem missing) and this was not a 'Lego lost at sea' item. A gold coloured smarties lid and some eye ointment!

Our usual bag was brimming with rubbish as we headed back to the car; it was a good day for us and the beaches we visited.

Stay safe x
