Pentewan Beach - Cornwall. New moon and low tide

I haven't visited Pentewan beach for some time, although local to me, the thought of driving through St Austell with multiple traffic lights and traffic volume put me off making the journey!

Nevertheless, it is always a joy to visit.

Woody enjoyed his first visit to Pentewan!

2 hours on the beach led to a beautiful collection of sea glass and pottery. Plastic was minimal, just a few bits and pieces. Even following stormy weather, Pentewan always appears fairly clean.... i wonder if this is down to plenty of visitors picking up bits and pieces, or, if the beach's proximity means the sea currents, leave the plastic on other beaches in the bay?

Todays message from the beach was one of love..... love the blue spaces and they will reward you with treasures and the opportunity to step away from our busy lives, taking time to restore and rebalance.
