A Blustery and Windswept Trip to Par Beach, Cornwall

12th October 2020 : Par Beach Cornwall

To say 12th October 2020 was a blustery day, is perhaps an understatement! I was ever so slightly windswept! Wellies full of water, coat soaked through..... so much for waterproof!!

Sadly, this balloon had washed up and had started to break down. Tracing their journey is impossible, this could have landed up on the beach from anywhere.

The beach was really clean, despite the stormy weather. Considering the beach is pretty long, i only picked up a handful of items. One piece was the bottom of a plastic bottle, which i always think resemble flowers or starfish. I wonder what happened to the rest of the bottle?

The beach rewarded my efforts with some beautiful treasures - sea glass, pottery and a cowrie shell.💙
I love it when the coast says thank you 💙

Despite the 'pulled through a hedge backwards' look I was sporting, the invigorating walk was much needed. I find a visit to the coast lifts my mood and a sense of calm and well-being is restored once more!

Thanks for reading 💙
