Sunrise at Carlyon Bay in Cornwall

An early start so we could see the sunrise, it was worth the 5am start! The colours of the sky were beautiful and they lit up the coastline and Gribbin Head with the Day Marker; pure bliss!

Cans are something i find on most beach cleans, although they are not plastic, i always include them in my overall beach cleaning habits. They can be found in varying stages of breaking down, and leave sharp and nasty shards of metal. This is obviously not good for the environment or wildlife

Finding a bike saddle was a first for me! This one looked like it had been in the environment for a long time. The saddle details are: Selle Royal Spa is a company from Vicenza, Italy, founded in 1956 producing saddles for bicycles

Lots of white items found today, it is funny how you can find themes during beach cleans. I hadn't realised the white theme until i got home and began to clean and sort ready for recycling etc

I always seem to find lighters at Carlyon Bay; i wonder why?

Other bits and pieces i found, again i have included the metal bottle caps as i always see so many of them! You can also spot part of a drinks can, this illustrates the fragments that occur from the cans breaking down

Stay safe x
